However, the exhibitor hall would be filled with companies showcasing cutting-edge products. As a service-based firm, how could they make an impact?

They use personalized insights from DNA analysis, invest in biotech companies focused on familial health conditions, and help clients navigate healthcare management with a financial lens. It’s a game-changer in wealth management, but it’s not the kind of service that easily catches the eye at a conference.
The Strategy
MetaParadigm needed more than just a presence at the BioHacking Conference—they needed to connect with attendees on a deeper level, build relationships, and create buzz around their unique approach.
Our team knew that simply setting up a booth wouldn’t be enough. We needed to create an experience. That’s why we proposed the idea of hosting a live podcast right from the exhibitor hall. The concept was simple: anyone who stopped by MetaParadigm’s booth would have the opportunity to sit down with Sal Picciallo, the founder, and chat about what drove them to attend the conference, their interests in the biohacking movement, and what they were promoting.
Sal and his team were a bit hesitant about the idea at first. What if no one wanted to stop and talk? We assured them with the right preparation, by the end of the conference, guests would be asking to join the podcast. They finally agreed and we had only a few weeks to create the activation.
The Prep
In the weeks leading up to the conference, we carefully designed the booth setup, ensuring it was sleek and inviting, with banner designs that communicated MetaParadigm’s unique value proposition at a glance. We created one-pagers that provided an overview of their services and prepared Sal with questions tailored to spark engaging conversations.
Knowing that the right guests would make all the difference, we researched the attendee list in advance, identifying key figures who would not only have compelling stories but could also become potential strategic partners for MetaParadigm.
The BioHacking Conference
Our team traveled to Texas to help Sal execute the activation. On site, we had an audio visual technician and grip to film the podcasts. A “wrangler” to work the exhibitor hall and bring the right guests back to the booth for an interview. A “greeter” to talk to booth visitors about the MetaParadigm value prop and evaluate if they would be a fit for an interview.
The Result – Turning Attendees into Advocates
The results exceeded even our expectations. By the end of the conference, MetaParadigm’s booth became a must-visit spot, not because of flashy giveaways, but because people wanted to share their stories. Sal conducted 17 interviews, each one rich with insights and connections.
The content we captured was gold! We established a YouTube channel to showcase the full interviews. Plus we created a treasure trove of clips for social media, providing MetaParadigm with content for up to four months. The content sharing, complete with tags and joint posts, fostered relationships with many of the interviewees, leading to strategic partnerships that continue to grow.
